The DAOS project is focused on providing information and advice to people living with dementia and their families, unpaid carers, and the wider community.

Who is this service for?

    If you have dementia or are waiting for a diagnosis, it’s important you have as much choice and say as possible about how things will be for you. We can provide information and advice about your choices, and help you to plan for the future. We can also help you to find ways of enjoying life in the here and now to support your wellbeing.

  • If you care for someone living with Dementia

    If you care for someone living with Dementia

    If someone you know is living with dementia we can support you with your wellbeing and provide information about your rights and options. We understand that one of the main frustrations is about not being included in decisions around your loved one’s options and care. We will help you to be as fully involved as possible.

  • Professionals and community groups

    Professionals and community groups

    If you're a professional who works with people living with dementia, or maybe you work with their carers, we can provide an additional layer of support for them. We can provide advice, guidance, and signposting for people living with dementia, their carers, and professionals who do not specialise in dementia support.

How can you access this service?

If you're aged 18+ and living in Redcar and Cleveland then we can support you.

You can complete the referral form below and one of our team will be in touch or call 01642 257 020 and ask to be referred into the DAOS service .

Alternatively, your GP or another support agency can refer you.
