A very warm welcome to you and thank you for taking time to visit our website. Below are our counsellors biographies so that you can have a look and see who you would like to work with to best suit your needs. If you choose to enter into therapy, then you will have an opportunity to work with that practitioner for an agreed period of time, to review your experience and make decisions together about the number of sessions that you want to access. You will also find details around availability, and currently appointment times are from 4.30-7.30 pm Tuesday and Wednesday.
It may be that you are feeling upset, low or worried about something and just can't shake the feeling. You may feel 'stuck' at a point in life, and are unsure of the direction you want to go next. Perhaps you are tired of trying to please everyone else and need some time to consider your needs and wellbeing. Or maybe something just doesn't feel right but you can't quite figure out why that is.
We all have times in our lives when things don't go the way we expect, plan or want them to. It could be because of something that happened in the past, is happening now or that you think might happen in the future. Whatever it is, counselling could help you cope with whatever you are going through.
It may also be that you have experienced some really difficult and traumatic times in your life either as an adult or a child and you wish to unburden yourself of the on-going effect of these.
All of the counsellors are qualified and are members of professional governing bodies that support and set standards around their professional development.
Within the counsellor biographies you can find information about what kinds of approaches they take and the different types of therapies that they can offer.
