Everyone struggles at some point in their life, but if you're a young person it can be especially hard to understand the thoughts and feelings you may be experiencing and how best to cope with them.

Our dedicated team can work with you to find a way to manage these thoughts and emotions and help you feel more in control of your mental health.

Who is this service for?

We offer counselling and group therapy sessions for those young people struggling with their mental health and emotional wellbeing as part of a partnership of organisations providing this help.

To access our support you must be:

  • aged 11-18

  • living in Stockton on Tees

What we can do to help you

Our dedicated team of counsellors and wellbeing practitioners can offer a mix of one to one counselling support and group therapy.

We’ll tailor a plan to suit your individual needs and work with you over 12 sessions to help you understand why you’re feeling the way you are and give you the tools you need to manage your mental health.

We’re here for you and can help if you’re struggling with

  • anxiety

  • low mood

  • depression

  • stress

  • low confidence and low self esteem

  • bereavement

How do we deliver this service?

We work in partnership with Eaglescliffe Medical Practice and GPs across Stockton on Tees and the sessions run every

Tuesday 3.30-6.30pm – face to face in the GP surgery

Wednesday 3.30-6.30pm – remotely via telephone

Thursday 3.30-6.30pm – face to face in the GP surgery

    How can you access this service?

    You can complete the referral form below if you live in Stockton on Tees and one of our team will be in touch.

    Alternatively, your GP or another support agency can refer you.
