We know how hard the pandemic has been for children and young people across Teesside.
The Mindset Project has been created to help support those children, young people and families who have been impacted by Covid19.
What can we do to help?
We're offering one to one emotional wellbeing support that's tailored to each child's specific needs.
There are also opportunities to take part in a new weekly online youth group and face to face activities will be hopefully be available too in the cominng months. This will give children the opportunity to connect with like-minded young people who want to make a difference and have fun while improving their mental health in these challenging times.
We'll also provide signposting for families to other services to offer support with issues such as housing, finance and domestic violence among others.
The project is funded by Children in Need and will run through to March 2022.
Who is this service for?
If your child is aged 5-18 and lives in Middlesbrough or Stockton on Tees.
What happens next?
Anyone can refer a young person to the project such as a parent, teacher, child or professional.
Once a refferal has been made, we will contact the referer and the parent(s) to discuss the support needed.
Support can be offered via online, telephone, face to face at school and in our venues where possible.
We also have equipment available for families who may need support with connecting with online or telephone support.
