Just as we can struggle with our physical health, there are times when we can struggle with our thoughts and feelings. Our mental health can be affected by all sorts of things, stress, exams, relationship break-ups, problems at home or work or the death of someone close to us.

We recognise that it isn’t always easy to talk about how we are feeling or to get help when we're struggling. If you're worried or anxious, you don't need to struggle alone and in silence. We're here to help.
Through our Lets Do It project we'll work with you to see what you enjoy doing and find activities you can join in Middlesbrough and Stockton.
We can provide you with an opportunity to meet people your own age who are similar to you, in a safe, friendly and non-judgemental environment. You can learn new things and take part in fun activities that are shaped by you and your thoughts and needs. This means you'll be able to decide what activities we do and you can also receive support from your peers in a non-clinical setting.
Our aim is to find ways to get you back into enjoying life, while reducing loneliness and improving your mental wellbeing. We'll also help you to access appropriate services.
The Lets Do It project is funded by Comic Relief.

Who is this service for?
The Lets Do It project is aimed at young males aged between 14 and 20 who class themselves as a Care Leaver or who are from the Black Asian Minority and Ethnic community.
What happens next?
Once you've made contact with us, we'll work with you to understand your hobbies and what you enjoy doing. You'll then be able to access the activities and meet new people. You can request what activities you'd like to do and we can even help you access the right support services.
