Carers Week (11th - 17th June 2018) is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and to recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.
This year's theme will focus on ‘supporting carers to stay healthy and connected’, so that they can look after themselves and their loved ones, whilst recognising that carers are people with needs of their own.
Here at Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind, we think carers do amazing work every day for the people they care for.
Earlier this year we were saddened to see our carers service come to a close but we will still support carers in our other services from talking therapies to workshops and sport activities.
Are you a carer for a loved one?
Our range of support services can give you the opportunity to talk about your concerns and allows a space to focus on yourself rather than the person you care for.
