BME Community DEvelopment

Until the end of March 2011, we ran a specific community development project looking at mental health issues with black and minority ethnic communities, called Diverse Mind.  This project has ended but we remain committed to supporting all of our local communities with mental health issues.  There is evidence to show that mental health services, particularly GP services and community services, are under-used by people from black and minority ethnic communities.

If you need an interpreter to help you use our services, we can organise this for you.  Our Diverse Mind project also compiled a directory of local services, which you can download here.
