Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind was first established in 1995.
Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind is one of over 180 local Mind organisations throughout England and Wales.
Trustees
Our Board of Trustees is the governing body of the charity. Individual trustees bring a wide range of skills and experience to the organisation. The trustees have duties and responsibilities to the charity and are highly committed to our aims and objectives. Our trustees from October 2011 to October 2012 are:

Vision
The vision of the Mind network is of a society that promotes and protects good mental health for all, and that treats people with experience of mental distress fairly, positively, and with respect.
Aims
Middlesbrough and Stockton Mind has 6 strategic aims:
- To support more people to better mental health and well-being through our existing services
- To support more people to better mental health and well-being through the development of new services
- To support more people who experience mental distress and their families to influence policy and decision-makers
- To increase public awareness and understanding of mental health and well-being
- To campaign for better services and social justice for people who experience mental distress and their families
- To become a more responsive, effective, efficient, successful and sustainable organisation.
